The foundation a man needs to successfully lose weight is without doubt, the right nutrition. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of protein, vegetables and a moderate amount of carbohydrates will suffice – “meat and 2 veg” in case you like!
Nutrition and an increased metabolism is then crucial to solving the issues of obesity, diabetes and heart issues.
By eliminating all the carbs you eat, the body manifests a state known as “benign dietary ketosis”. There is a whole host of ways for men to diet, but in 2010, dietitians agree, in the west where high “processed carbs” are a prominent staple diet for most men, that by eliminating the processed carbs is the quickest way to lose weight, in case you suffer from obesity.
The term, “benign dietary ketosis” was in fact coined by Dr Atkins – in his now famous or infamous, which ever way you look at it – protein diet.
Fundamentally, this diet operates under the same aim, by inducing a state of ketosis, but in this case your processed carbs are replaced by meat without little further nutrition.
Of coursework, regular weight/strength training and running/swimming/cycling (cardio) are also helpful when you feel you have lost body fat to do this comfortably.
For example, proper strength training will increase your amount of lean muscle, which is your METABOLIC FURNACE, (metabolic rate) that will burn additional energy round the clock.
Therefore all those fat reserves that you have got built up, most notably for men around the mid-rift – the stomach – will continue to burn away the fat in the coursework of the day and night.
